 Square Watermelons

Round fruits usually sit awkwardly in refrigerator shelves, aside from taking up a lot of space.

The round shape also makes it difficult to store them because they can roll out of place.

Smart Japanese farmers devised a way to remedy the situation.

They forced watermelons to grow in a square-shape tempered glass mold, resulting in a standard-sized square watermelons.

The square shape and standard size make it more convenient to store, and deliver to markets.
